Price transparency & patient billing.
We want you to understand the cost of your care before your procedure. Below you'll find estimates of costs you may incur, financial assistance information, our billing practices, and a link to the Agency for Health Care Administration's service-bundle pricing website.
Agency service-bundle pricing website
The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) publishes pricing information on payments made to facilities for defined service bundles and procedures. A "service bundle" is the reasonably expected center services and care provided to a patient for a specific treatment, procedure, or diagnosis, as posted on the Agency's website.
Please note: The service-bundle information on the Agency's website is a non-personalized estimate of costs that may be incurred for anticipated services. Your actual costs will be based on the services actually provided to you.
Request a personalized estimate
You have the right to request a personalized estimate of the costs you may incur for services at West Bay Surgery Center. To request your estimate, call us at (727) 585-9500. We will provide an estimate upon request.
You also have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" of expected charges if you are uninsured or not using insurance. Read your Good Faith Estimate rights (PDF) .
Financial assistance, charity care & collections
West Bay Surgery Center maintains a financial assistance policy, a charity care policy, and a collection procedure for patients who need help meeting their financial obligations. To learn whether you qualify for assistance, or to request a copy of any of these policies, please contact our office at (727) 585-9500.
We collect any co-payments, unmet deductibles, and co-insurance amounts on the day of your procedure, and we will contact you beforehand with the estimated amount due. See Payment Options for accepted payment methods and financing through CareCredit.
Practitioners & practice groups
The health care practitioners and medical practice groups contracted to provide services within the center are listed by specialty, with contact information:
- Our physicians — browse the full roster, grouped and filterable by specialty, with contact details on each physician's page.
- Other providers who may bill separately — anesthesia, pathology, and laboratory groups, with names and contact information.
- Insurances accepted — health plans the center participates with.
Contact your practitioners directly
The health care practitioners anticipated to provide services to you while in the center may bill separately from the surgery center. We encourage you to contact each practitioner directly regarding a personalized estimate, their billing practices, and their participation with your insurance provider or health maintenance organization (HMO). These practitioners may not participate with the same health insurers or HMO as the center, so please confirm coverage with both your plan and each provider.
